Terms of Service

By using KnoBox, you agree to the following terms. This is general-purpose boilerplate, not a substitute for formal legal review before wider release.

1. The service

KnoBox is a personal bookmark and knowledge-management tool. Its AI features (summaries, tagging, semantic search, chat) rely on KnoBox's own cloud backend and may be unavailable or limited if that backend is unreachable or under maintenance.

2. Accounts

Signing in is optional. If you choose to sign in, you're responsible for maintaining access to the email address associated with your account, since that's how sign-in codes are delivered. You can delete your account at any time from Settings.

3. Your content

You're responsible for the links you save and any content you ask KnoBox to process. Only save and process content you have the right to access.

4. KnoBox Pro

KnoBox Pro is an auto-renewing subscription billed and managed entirely through Google Play, at the price shown at checkout. It renews automatically until cancelled; cancel anytime through Google Play's own subscription settings, effective at the end of the current billing period. Refunds are subject to Google Play's own policies, not KnoBox's — we don't process payments or refunds directly.

5. Acceptable use

Don't use KnoBox to store, process, or distribute unlawful content, or to attempt to disrupt, reverse-engineer, or abuse any backend service it connects to.

6. No warranty

KnoBox is provided "as is," without warranty of any kind. AI-generated summaries and answers may be inaccurate or incomplete — verify anything important against the original source.

7. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, the developer isn't liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from use of the app.

8. Changes

These terms may be updated as the app evolves. Continued use after an update means you accept the revised terms.
